This would culminate in what is known as the Great Conflict, a war that would seemingly rage on for an eternity, between the forces of Heaven and Hell. They both fought and ultimately succumbed at the same time with Anu's skeleton creating the High Heavens while Tathamet's corpse created the Burning Hells. The High Heavens and the Burning Hells give birth to Angels and to Demons respectively. Lilith is the daughter of a Prime Evil, making her quite a strong and important character in Diablo's lore, though she wasn't introduced until much later. Anu was the first being to exist, who after desiring to be perfect, cast away all of its evil creating the Prime Evil Tathamet. In Diablo 4 Lilith will be the big bad that players may ultimately have to face in the end, but Lilith has also made an appearance in Diablo 2.

Her role in Diablo's lore and the creation of Sanctuary is notable, given Sanctuary is the main setting for each of the Diablo games. One Diablo character that is discussed quite often is Lilith, daughter of Mephisto, and Queen of the Succubi. One major point of discussion is the lore between the reoccurring characters throughout the Diablo series and how they may impact future events. Despite the possibly long wait for Diablo 4, it still doesn't stop fans from discussing everything and anything there is about the future sequel. Diablo 2: Resurrected will release in September and Diablo: Immortal will release later in 2021, meaning Diablo fans will have their hands full in the meantime. Diablo 4 is still far away for fans of the Diablo series, but fans will be getting some Diablo content later this year.
